The award-winning facilities of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) make the Gold Coast the perfect place to mix business and pleasure.

The AUD$167 million venue offers the flexibility of catering for 10 to 6,000 people, specialising in all events from small meetings and gatherings to corporate and association conferences, national and international incentives, banquets, exhibitions, concerts and sporting and special events.

The Centre is located within walking distance of more than 3,000 Broadbeach accommodation rooms, the surf beach and the chic Broadbeach precinct featuring more than 100 restaurants and cafés, so finding a nearby place to eat, play and sleep is never hard. The Centre is also conveniently linked via an undercover walkway to The Star Gold Coast, the Gold Coast’s award-winning hotel-casino complex.

The Centre is synonymous with entertainment on the Gold Coast, attracting a diverse mix of entertainers and events including big acts such as Powderfinger, Pink, Mariah Carey, numerous sporting events including the netball and basketball in the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, as well as an extensive list of corporate and industry conferences. HOW CAN I GET TO GCCEC


Train

Our trainline connects Gold Coast stations to Brisbane CBD. For the most convenient route to the centre from Brisbane, catch the Tram at the Helensvale Train station stop and ride the G:link to Broadbeach North station.

Taxi

Services frequent GCCEC and its convenient location alongside Gold Coast Highway. If you would like to organise a taxi service when at GCCEC, ask at the reception desk or use the courtesy phone located in the foyer.


Parking

Undercover car spaces are available for short-term parking, including two EV chargers. A $12 inclusive of GST flat rate is charged for parking at the centre. Clearance height: 2.1 metres.


Bus Services

Surfside Buslines operate frequently from the bus stop outside GCCEC on Gold Coast Highway.

G:Link Light Rail

The Gold Coast's G:link light rail system is a 13-kilometre corridor connecting Helensvale Train Station to Broadbeach, passing through the key activity centres of Surfers Paradise and Southport. To access GCCEC, ride the G:link to the Broadbeach North Station, just across the road from our main entrance on Gold Coast Highway.

AVC2024 takes place on 2 levels of the GCCEC, with the registration desk, & Plenary Lectures located in Arena 1 on the ground level at the entrance.


On the first floor you will find the Trade Hall in Foyers E & F, and all Interactive Workshop in Rooms 5 and 6.
