What is the best browser for the event platform?

The event platform is best accessed using the latest version of Google Chrome. Please download/update Google Chrome prior to the event.

What device should I use to watch?

We strongly advise that you participate via your desktop or laptop computer/mac that has good speakers. Mobile devices are supported but the best experience will be through the desktop or laptop computer/mac.

Will sessions be recorded?

Yes, all live presentations will be recorded and will be available on-demand to ticket holders on this platform from the Wednesday 10 April, for 4 months.

Details on how to access these recordings will become available soon.

How are workshops running at AVC 2024?

There are 8 x 60-minute workshops in total.

You can attend a maximum of 4 workshops over the AVC weekend. For the remaining workshop topics, you can view on-demand content via the AVC 2024 Virtual Platform for up to 4 months after the event.

All workshops attended In-Person over the AVC 2024 weekend are classified as interactive. You must participate in person to achieve interactive CPD. If you watch the workshops live online or on demand, they are not interactive.

It is possible to achieve 1 x therapeutic/interactive hours when participating in one of the in person workshops at AVC 2024.

How will it work for a Virtual Delegate taking part in an Interactive session?

Virtual attendees will only be offered to in person attendees this year.

What time zone is the program in?

The dates and times listed on the Clinical Program automatically adjust to reflect the timezone your device is set to. Please see the ribbon along the top of the page.

Where do I access the Speakers’ presentation materials?

Speaker presentations will not be made available to download.

Information about each Speaker session is available via the Clinical Program and Speakers tabs.

On the Clinical Program page, you can click the down arrow to see the Talks within that session as well as the Speaker details and Learning Goals.

All Sessions will be recorded and made available for 4 months post-AVC2024 weekend. You will be able to re-watch each session multiple times. Please note that you will not obtain additional CPD hour allocation for re-watching the same session.

What is on-demand?

On-demand is simply the recordings of plenary and workshop sessions after the event plus a library of pre-recorded presentations.

At AVC 2024, we will be releasing ALL sessions on-demand for 4 months following the conference, so delegates have plenty of time to increase their CPD hours. On-demand will be available via the AVC 2024 Virtual Platform.

All recorded content will be loaded to the virtual platform and made available to delegates from 9.00am Wednesday 10th April 2024.

On-Demand will be available for 4-months, to midnight 7th August 2024. Reminders will be sent to all delegates before the recordings expire.

When does access to the AVC 2024 Virtual Platform expire?

You will not be able to access the platform after midnight 7th August 2024.

All recordings and session information will no longer be available after this time.

We recommend planning to make the most of the 4 months you have access to the AVC 2024 Virtual Platform and maximising your CPD before the platform expires.

We'll send you reminders before 7th August 2024.
